Job description

Physiotherapist wanted in the Swiss Rheintal, near the Austrian border

For a modern and growing physiotherapy practice in the Swiss Rheintal, we are looking for a motivated physiotherapist who enjoys active therapy and wants to further develop within a professional and sporty team.

The practice has several locations in the Heerbrugg and Widnau region, close to the Austrian border. The locations are situated near each other and are easy to reach. The practice was founded a few years ago and has since developed into a successful organisation with a strong focus on quality, personal development and team spirit.

The practice

The practice works extensively with active therapy methods. You will have access to modern treatment equipment and a spacious fitness area, which is actively used during treatments. The patient population mainly consists of people with sports-related, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal complaints.

This makes the position especially interesting for physiotherapists who have an affinity with sport, exercise therapy, rehabilitation and an active treatment approach. There is also plenty of opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and to further develop your skills in different treatment methods.

The practice is open from Monday to Friday. A pleasant working atmosphere, knowledge sharing and professional growth are highly valued.

The region

You will be working in the Swiss Rheintal, an attractive region in the canton of St. Gallen, close to Austria and not far from Liechtenstein and Lake Constance. The area combines a peaceful living environment with many opportunities for sport and outdoor activities.

In your free time, you can go hiking, cycling, skiing or enjoy the mountains and lakes in the region. Cities such as St. Gallen, Bregenz and Zurich are also easily accessible, giving you the benefits of both nature and urban facilities.

What will you do?

  • Treat patients with mainly sports-related, orthopaedic and musculoskeletal complaints
  • Actively use exercise therapy, MTT and rehabilitation training
  • Independently carry out physiotherapy treatments
  • Work together with colleagues in a professional and motivated team
  • Contribute ideas about quality, development and the further growth of the practice
  • Have the opportunity to further specialise and follow additional training

What do you bring?

  • A completed degree in physiotherapy
  • An affinity with active therapy, sports physiotherapy, MTT and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
  • A positive PreCheck at the start of the application process
  • German at approximately A2 to B1 level, with a clear motivation to continue learning
  • An independent, eager to learn and professional attitude
  • You value team spirit, quality and development

What can you expect?

  • A modern and well-organised practice with several locations
  • A sporty and active treatment environment
  • Modern equipment and a spacious fitness area for MTT and rehabilitation
  • A professional team where knowledge sharing is important
  • Training opportunities and room for further development
  • A salary of around CHF 6,500 gross per month, paid 13 times per year, depending on experience and recognition status
  • Working from Monday to Friday
  • The possibility to combine compensation measures with your work
