Job description
Physiotherapist wanted for a modern practice by Lake Zurich
For a modern and personal physiotherapy practice by Lake Zurich, we are looking for a physiotherapist for a position of 0.6 to 0.9 FTE, approximately 24 to 36 hours per week. The preferred starting date is 1 June 2026, although another starting date can be discussed. You will work in a small scale practice with a close team, a pleasant working atmosphere and plenty of room to focus fully on patient care.
The area
The practice is located in an attractive town on Lake Zurich. You will work in a beautiful location, just a few minutes from the train station and the lake. The practice is ideally situated between Zurich and Rapperswil, making it easy to reach by public transport and by car. The area combines the calm of the lake with the proximity of the city of Zurich, making it a great place to live and work.
The practice is located directly next to a beautifully situated and recently renovated care centre. This means you will treat both residents of the care centre, with a clear focus on geriatrics, and external patients from the region. This creates a varied working day with a good combination of general physiotherapy, geriatric care and personal guidance.
You will join an experienced and straightforward team of four physiotherapists and a medical practice assistant. The atmosphere within the team is familiar, open and collegial. There is a strong team spirit, and the administrative processes are well organised. This allows you to focus as much as possible on your patients and the quality of your treatments.
The practice uses modern equipment and digital practice software. Paid time is provided for administration and internal training. The practice also places great value on a pleasant working environment, professional development and a healthy balance between independence and teamwork.
What will you do?
• Treat and guide patients within general physiotherapy
• Work with residents of a care centre, with a focus on geriatrics
• Treat external patients from the region
• Create and carry out treatment plans
• Support patients in recovery, mobility, strength and daily functioning
• Work together with fellow physiotherapists and the medical practice assistant
• Update patient files in the digital practice software
• Take part in team discussions and internal knowledge sharing
We ask:
• A completed degree in physiotherapy
• Interest in general physiotherapy and geriatrics
• An independent and reliable working attitude
• Empathy and enjoyment in working with people
• Good communication skills
• A committed attitude towards patients and colleagues
• Motivation to live and work in Switzerland
• Willingness to continue developing professionally
The practice offers:
• A position of 0.6 to 0.9 FTE, approximately 24 to 36 hours per week
• Start on 1 June 2026 or by agreement
• An above average salary
• Paid time for administration and for internal training
• Modern equipment and digital practice software
• A familiar and pleasant working atmosphere
• A well organised team with strong administrative support
• A varied patient group with both care centre residents and external patients
• A central location, just a few minutes from the station and the lake
• A workplace between Zurich and Rapperswil
• Room for independence, development and teamwork
PhysioMatch offers:
• Full guidance throughout the entire application process
