Job description
Physiotherapist wanted for a modern practice in the French-speaking part of Switzerland
We are looking for a motivated physiotherapist for a well-organised and person-centred physiotherapy practice in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, who is keen to work in a professional, welcoming and stable working environment. The practice is looking for someone to start in September on a 0.8 to 1.0 FTE basis, approximately 34 to 42 hours per week. This is a role with the prospect of a long-term collaboration.
The surroundings
The practice is situated in a beautiful region in the canton of Valais, surrounded by mountains, vineyards and stunning natural scenery. The area offers an ideal combination of tranquillity, outdoor living and good transport links. The region offers plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, skiing and other outdoor sports. At the same time, larger towns with shops, restaurants, cultural amenities and public transport are within easy reach.
For those who enjoy living in a sunny, French-speaking region and love nature, mountains and an active lifestyle, this is a particularly attractive place to work and live.
The practice
The practice consists of a small, close-knit team of four physiotherapists. There are five treatment rooms and a large exercise room. The practice covers an area of approximately 180 square metres, offering plenty of space for both individual treatments and active rehabilitation.
The working atmosphere is personal and collegial, with a focus on quality, commitment and independence. The practice is looking for someone who wishes to commit to the team for the long term.
The role
As a physiotherapist, you will treat a wide range of patients within a modern practice setting. You will have the opportunity to work independently, whilst being part of an experienced and approachable team. The role has arisen as a temporary replacement, but there is a strong desire to find someone who will remain with the practice in the long term.
The practice owner intends to reduce their own working hours in the long term. This presents excellent opportunities for a motivated physiotherapist to establish a permanent role within the practice.
The practice is looking for:
- A physiotherapist who is available from September
- Speaks good French
- Preferably already has a positive pre-check
- Works independently and is keen to commit to a practice for the long term
- Appreciates a personal and collegial working environment
- Is keen to start a new life and take on a great professional challenge in Switzerland
What the practice offers

- A small and dedicated team of four physiotherapists
- Five treatment rooms and a spacious exercise room
- A broad and varied patient group
- A working percentage of 0.8 to 1.0 FTE
