Job description

Physiotherapist in the Bern region, 0.6 to 1.0 FTE, 24 to 40 hours

Are you a physiotherapist looking for more than just a standard role in a practice? We are seeking a physiotherapist for a modern, interdisciplinary health centre in the Bern region who is keen to grow within an environment where physiotherapy, training and diagnostics come together. This role is ideal for both early-career and experienced physiotherapists who wish to develop their professional skills and actively contribute to building an innovative working environment.

Environment

The Bern region offers an attractive combination of urban amenities, good transport links and a high quality of life. You will work in a dynamic environment where development, collaboration and quality are central. In this role, you will join a health centre currently under development, with plenty of scope to contribute ideas, develop yourself and bring your own approach to the profession.

What will you be doing

As a physiotherapist, you will work in an interdisciplinary health centre where physiotherapy, training and exercise diagnostics come together. You will treat and support patients and work closely with the therapeutic management team. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to help shape the further development of the practice and take on more responsibility step by step.

There is also plenty of scope to further develop your own professional interests, for example in the fields of sports physiotherapy, return to sport or group programmes.

What can you expect

  • Direct collaboration with the therapeutic management team
  • Mentorship from a highly knowledgeable manager with a Master’s degree in physiotherapy and expertise in manual therapy
  • A structured induction programme with clear guidance and increasing autonomy
  • A role that is explicitly suitable for those starting out
  • Opportunity to gain experience in practice development and student supervision
  • Space to develop your own professional focus areas
  • Interesting development opportunities for physiotherapists wishing to further their education, for example through a master’s programme or other advanced training

Who we are looking for

The practice is seeking a physiotherapist who has completed a degree in physiotherapy. SRK accreditation is already in place or currently being applied for. Recent graduates are also very welcome, as there is a strong focus on effective supervision and a clear structure.

Key requirements include a motivation to develop yourself further, an interest in movement, training or sports physiotherapy approaches, and an independent, responsible work ethic.

What is important within this practice

Within this practice, the focus is not on working quickly without attention to detail, but on quality, development and sustainable growth. We are looking for a physiotherapist who wants to grow in the profession and would like to be part of an environment where learning, contributing ideas and development are central. You don’t need to know everything yet, as long as you have the motivation to take steps forward and develop yourself further.
