You like to travel, but you want to keep the Netherlands as your home base?
For an international neurorehabilitation clinic in Amsterdam, we are looking for physiotherapists and occupational therapists with at least 2 years of working experience. Preferably experience with neurorehabilitation. You will regularly travel abroad for work periods in order to continue the treatment process of your patients at home.
The clinic is known for its personalised treatment and the aim is always to give back the highest possible quality of life and independence to their patients. Patients from all over the world come to this institution for treatment.
Experience and knowledge in clinical diagnostics & treatment in patients with acute neurological disorders.
An open approach to a diverse international clientele
Independently carry out individual therapies via the telerehabilitation platform or travel to a patient's home to treat them for a predetermined period
You will draw up individual therapy and training programmes after coordinating with neurologists and therapy teams, and provide the necessary training to patients' families and carers
Completed training as a physiotherapist (BIG registered) or occupational therapist,
Knowledge of various forms of therapy (e.g. manual therapy or robotics)
Strong interest in the use of wearable sensory devices and robotics to support therapy
Experience in working with neurological patients
You are open to travel to different countries to treat patients (approx. 50%-80%)
You are dedicated, responsible and willing to create effective approaches to treat your patients
Team player, independent, culturally adaptable, resilient and friendly personality
Openness and communication skills towards patients and colleagues
Willing to work in a start-up company, with a hands-on mentality
Good written and spoken English, any other languages are an advantage
